About the Artist

A  resident of Mount Kisco, New York, Michael Chiariello has a  passionate interest in classical figure drawing.  He studied under  world-renowned illustrator Alan E. Cober at the University of Buffalo.  Michael  is inspired by the work of Michelangelo and other Renaissance artists.   He prefers to work in colored pencil, acrylic and oil.  His  classical drawings provide a unique and dynamic interpretation of art,  sculpture and architecture from the past based on careful observation.  His sensitive portraits reveal the inner beauty of his subjects.
